On May 28, the Armenian media reported that one serviceman of the Armenian Armed Forces was seriously injured as a result of the alleged violation of the ceasefire by the Azerbaijani side on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border, AzVision.az reports citing the press service of the State Border Service (SBS).
"In this regard, we officially state that this information is not true and does not reflect reality. In front of the area where the Armenian serviceman was wounded (Nerkin And village of Syunik region of Armenia) (Razdere village of Zangilan district), our units guarding the state border did not open fire at the territory of Armenia.
Observation, photo-video and analysis of other materials carried out at the time prove that the incident happened among the Armenian servicemen. We urge the Armenian side to use such methods to inform the public, instead of concealing the deadly misconduct in the Armed Forces," the statement said.
